What happens far too often in utility organizations is that each of the departments operate in silos that create communication barriers. As a result, fleet procures equipment that doesn’t address safety needs. The safety department goes after the field for any incidents involving the equipment. And the operators in the field get upset because they feel like they aren’t being heard by either fleet or safety. So, how can you counteract this dynamic to get all parties working together more effectively?

- Navigate requests from the field to determine which are necessary for safety or are merely operator preferences
